Vacancy issued under CypSec Group European secure infrastructure operations. This senior technical role demands demonstrated excellence in classified data systems engineering beyond conventional enterprise database administration. Only candidates with exceptional achievements in sovereign data architecture, cryptographic data protection, or critical infrastructure data platforms will progress through our rigorous selection framework.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Architect sovereign database systems supporting European critical infrastructure protection and intelligence operations
• Implement cryptographic data controls meeting EU data localization requirements and cross-border transfer restrictions
• Design resilient data platforms capable of operating in air-gapped and compartmentalized security environments
• Ensure operational compliance with GDPR Article 44-49, NIS2 Directive, and emerging EU data sovereignty regulations
• Develop data retention and destruction protocols suitable for classified information handling and supervisory audit requirements

Mandatory Technical Excellence

• Expert-level PostgreSQL in security-constrained deployments
• MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch configuration for classified data processing
• Advanced query optimization under encryption-at-rest constraints and hardware security module integration
• Transparent data encryption, field-level encryption, and cryptographic key rotation in production environments
• Multi-region clustering with sovereign data boundary enforcement and cross-border replication restrictions

Exceptional Candidate Requirements

Beyond baseline qualifications, successful candidates will demonstrate at least one of the following:

• Design and deployment of database systems handling EU CLASSIFIED or NATO RESTRICTED information
• Development of cryptographic data protection mechanisms with formal security verification
• Contributions to open-source database security projects with demonstrated enterprise adoption
• Participation in EU-funded data infrastructure initiatives (Horizon Europe, Digital Europe Programme, ENISA frameworks)
• Documented research in post-quantum cryptography applications to database security or privacy-preserving data analytics

Advanced Security Focus Areas

• Post-quantum cryptographic database encryption for long-term classified data protection
• Secure multi-party computation frameworks for collaborative threat intelligence analysis
• Differential privacy implementations supporting EU AI Act compliance in security analytics
• Blockchain-based data integrity verification for forensic chain-of-custody requirements
• Homomorphic encryption deployment enabling computation on encrypted security telemetry

Linguistic Proficiency Standards

• CEFR C1+ English capability for technical documentation and stakeholder communication
• CEFR C1+ working proficiency in German, Russian, Chinese, or Spanish
